Join our highly knowledgeable Paramedic tutors for an annual CPD day that will not only re-qualify you for another year in Basic Life Support, perfect for FREC 3 holders but also provide you with an introduction to ECG interpretation or the management of trauma patients.
ECG workshop - become knowledgeable and skilled in the application of both 3 and 12 lead ECG's. Learn how to interpret basic ECG's, recognise normal ECG's and identify common arrhythmia's and understand why they occur.
Trauma workshop - learn how to manage patient's who have suffered traumatic injuries including fractures, head injuries, back and neck injuries. Includes the application of cervical collars, pelvic binders, traction splints and immobilisation equipment. Tourniquets and blast dressings.
Healthcare professionals have a duty of care to ensure that they remain up to date and competent to perform Basic Life Support – this should be achieved by annual BLS & AED training.
Duration: 1 day course
Certificate: BLS Valid for 1 years + CPD certificate
Meets regulating body requirements for annual BLS training.
