QA Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency & Urgent Care (FREUC)

Students must be able to attend all three blocks of face to face training.

18-22 July 2022 

22-26 August 2022

26-30 September 2022

Proof of completed FREC 4 certificate will be required prior to commencing the course.

Level 3 CERAD driving course or IHCD D1 & D2 course certification also required in order to enable you to undertake front line Ambulance work with our placement partners.  Driving courses can be provided by our placement providers, this can be undertaken within the breaks between the face to face sessions.   Driving courses are an additional cost and delivered by our placement provider.  Driving courses at an additional cost to be agreed with the placement provider supplying the course.

You must undertake and clear pre-employment checks and complete the assessment process with our placement providers in order to be able to undertake front-line operational duties.  The contract of employment will between the student and the placement provider.    Placement providers have agreed to support the clinical placement hours and mentoring requirements of our FREUC 5 students.

You will be offered Paid employment by our placements providers to allow you to earn and as you claim your placement hours
