Must hold a valid FREC 4 certificate and have verifiable proof of employment by a CQC registered pre-hospital care company.

Specifically designed for prehospital care providers this course teaches candidates about the common types of life saving medication, potential side effects, patient assessment and the monitoring skills to determine the effects once administration has taken place.

This 2 day course is taught by our team of highly experienced Paramedic & Nurse tutors utilising our unique location to provide scenario based training relevant to candidates likely working conditions.

Alternatively our trainers can come to a location of your choice to deliver the course.

The course comprises of a mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations hands on practice and scenarios.  The assessment process includes both practical assessment of skills learnt and workbook completion. All course materials are provided.  

Practical clothing highly recommended due to the hands on nature of the scenarios.

Duration: 2 day course

Certificate: Rolling as long as the learner can maintain a continued professional development (CPD) relevant to medication administration.

Minimum age: 18 years on first day of training

Must hold a valid FREC 4 certificate and have verifiable proof of work (full, part or adhoc) for a CQC registered pre-hospital care provider.

PLEASE NOTE: This qualification does not allow the learner to obtain, store or medicate without clinical governance. The obtaining of this qualification does not imply a licence to practice, the scope of practice will be determined by the organisation the individual is employed by who are responsible for medication provision
