This qualification is ideal for anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents or those who have a professional involvement with infants and children and wish to learn key paediatric first aid skills.
Having the correct paediatric first aid provision is not only a statutory requirement for the majority of childcare providers, it is extremely important for the safety of children.
This qualification is ideal as the minimum qualification for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting such as early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders.
Candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid and medical emergencies.
