QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF)

Aimed at those who want to gain a qualification in Emergency Care - building upon the principles learnt in FREC 3 this course will take you to a higher level and prepare you for a career within the NHS or Private Ambulance service.

This 5 day course is taught by our team of highly experienced Paramedic tutors and makes full use of our rural location allowing  realistic scenarios and practice on surrounding woodland and farm locations.

Alternatively our trainers can come to a location of your choice to deliver the course.

Our FREC 4 courses are taught as per the requirements of the awarding body Qualsafe who request that the face to face training sessions are split with a break of 2 weeks in between to allow candidates to consolidate their learning through work books and home study. This break is designed to allow candidates to begin the process of work book completion before returning for the second block of face to face teaching when our trainers can review your work books and provide further guidance and assistance on their completion.   Books can then be electronically submitted to us post course for marking.

The course comprises a mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations hands on practice and scenarios.  The assessment process includes both theory exams and practical assessment of skills learnt. All course materials are provided.  In addition to the 5 days of face to face learning an additional 118 hours of self directed study that should include additional reading and applied practice. We understand that there is confusion about this - our trainers will provide more information about these hours if your face to face sessions, this study should ultimately be relevant to your individual area of work and likely patients and situations you will encounter.

Practical clothing highly recommended due to the hands on nature of the scenarios.
